The first incarnation of Gasmask was painted on an oil drum in HMV, Oxford Street in 2010 to coincide with the release of Banksy’s DVD ‘Exit Through The Gift Shop’. A canvas version went under the hammer at a Sotheby’s auction in 2001 with an estimate of $97,000 to $130,000.
